Filmmakers were invited to compete in three categories for the 2020 edition of Reel Pakistan’s Short Film Competition: Short Narrative/Animation, Short Documentary and The Essay Film. We received a large number of wonderful submissions making it a very difficult decision for our judges.
Our virtual award ceremony was held on Zoom following a live screening of all competition films during the 3rd Annual CLCS Screen Studies Symposium in December 2020. Awards were presented by Bilal Sami, filmmaker, screenwriter, educator and multi-disciplinary artist.
We would like to congratulate all our winners and finalists on their wonderful films!
